How are Free Agents or potential Free Agents being handled? Our first conflict has already come up - 2 teams claimed Marlon Byrd (Mets and his new team PHI).

I think it was posted somewhere that whoever the player belongs to when we start free agency draft or November 18 (one of those) is the team he goes with. In Byrds case I think he goes to the Phillies

That is correct. The New York Redsox don't even have a claim, Byrd finished the season with the Pirates.
