Each Franchise will have a 40 man Major League Roster and a 20 man Minor League Roster.
Each Franchise is required to have a minimum of 30 players on their Major League Roster.
The salary for your 40 man roster players will be determined using COTS CONTRACTS.
Each Minor League Player will be paid 0.2m
Minor leaguers are defined as any player who has Less than 50 innings pitched or 150 AB's
When players surpass 150AB or 50IP, they receive 4 years of prospect protection beginning the year following. For instance, Eric Hosmer eclipsed 150 ABs in 2011, so his four years of protection are 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. Players under prospect protection (PP) earn .4M each year.
If a player misses an entire season due to injury (no games at all), they do not record that year as being protected.
Example: Jason Castro - eclipsed in 2010, should be PP 2014. Injured all of 2011, so he is actually PP 2015.
