If you want to release a player on your major league rosterplease follow this format:
Start a new thread using your team name
in the thread list the following information:
Player Names ---Pos---Contract---Cap Hit
some examples
THREAD NAME Team A releases
Joe Smith-P-(2014-$4M) (2016-$4M) Cap Hit (2014-$2M)(2016-$1M)
Pete Jones-P($.4M PP) No cap hit
MAKE SURE YOU ALSO RECORD RELEASES ON YOUR TEAMS TRANSACTION PAGE
Any player that is on a protected contract can be released at any time with no cap hit.
A player in your minor league system can be added/dropped at any time without posting in transaction. The only exception is if you have a minor league player obtained in trade and you decide to release him you need to post it in this thread.
