Bonus Player
As most of you know, we have a number of high quality players that were not drafted in the league do to very large contracts.
In an effort to get these players on rosters and into the league we have decided to award each franchise with a bonus player. Each of the following players will be entered into a randomizer and so will each franchise, after each list is randomized we will match the numbers and that is the bonus player your franchise will be awarded.
Jared Weaver
Justin Verlander
Joe Mauer
Brian McCann
CC Sebathia
Matt Kemp
Adrian Gonzalez
Zack Greinke
Cole Hamels
Ian Kinsler
Shin Shoo Choo
Matt Cain
Jason Werth
Josh Hamilton
Jacoby Ellsbury
Your bonus player will not count against your salary cap or your max number of players for 2014. Following the 2014 season we will devise a process so that you may retain your bonus player. Otherwise the player will return to free agency.
Bonus players must be designated on your team page by placing asterisks around the players name.
*player name* and salary designated as (2014=bonus)
These players may be traded, however it has to be a 1 for 1 trade and the other player must also be a bonus player.
